BIOGRAPHY
SELANGOR
MALAYSIA
b. 2008

I am an 18-year-old from Selangor, Malaysia. I spent five years at Kolej Yayasan Saad in Melaka — a boarding school that dismantled my assumptions about effort and rebuilt me as a systems thinker. I arrived thinking hard work was enough. I left knowing that direction matters more than force.

My first major project was rebuilding my school's gym — from a broken room to a fully equipped facility that cost RM250,000 and took two years of supplier negotiations, budget management, and institutional diplomacy. The project was covered by The Star. More importantly, the team that used it went on to defeat the national champions — eight months after I retired.

I think in systems, build in code, and reason in markets. I write economics essays focused on Southeast Asia — how payment infrastructure leapfrogs, how EV policy shapes behaviour, how constraints create or destroy opportunity. I am currently designing a VTOL drone (body complete, CFD done on AirShaper) and building FlashShare, an Anki-style flashcard app for Malaysian students.

I am seeking an internship for 2026 in engineering, consulting, or economics research. I want to work on problems that have real stakes, and I want to learn from people who have built things that last.

/ JOURNEY
2021
Enrolled at Kolej Yayasan Saad, Melaka
Joined one of Malaysia's most competitive boarding schools. Arrived confident. The first semester reset everything — lost rugby spot, ranked near the bottom academically.
BOARDING SCHOOL

Rebuilt — deliberately
Stopped relying on raw effort. Started training earlier, studying with intention, analysing weaknesses like a system. Climbed rankings. Regained position on the rugby team. Earned leadership roles.
SYSTEMS THINKING
2023
Proposed the gym refurbishment — 57 rejections
Identified that facility quality, not motivation, separated winning teams from losing ones. Drafted the first proposal at 15. Was rejected 57 times before receiving approval from school leadership.

2024
PCEP Certified · Most Outstanding Delegate · Prefect & Rugby Secretary
Completed Python PCEP-30-02 certification. Won Most Outstanding Delegate at Asia World Model United Nations 10. Served on the 90-member British-style prefectorial board and as U-17 Rugby Secretary.

Gym opens. The Rammers advance to the national stage.
The refurbished gym opened after two years of work. Players began training before and after school. The team advanced past group stages — and eight months later, my juniors defeated the reigning champions. I was not there. The system I built was.
